Conceptualised by Jaipur’s acclaimed jewellery designer, late Munnu Kasliwal, 28 Kothi is a home away from home for the creative community visiting Jaipur. It’s now helmed by Munnu Kasliwal’s son Siddharth (9th generation jeweller, Gem Palace) along with hotelier Abhishek Honawar (Founder, Honar Group).
This boutique hotel was built by French architect Georges Floret to serve as an oasis for global travellers to revitalise, discover, be inspired, and create. The two-storeyed Kothi has 5 plush rooms and communal areas with mesmerising latticed windows that play hide and seek with the Sun.
Jaipur-based Lebanese designer Nur Kaoukji (creative director, Ecru) is behind the soothingly luxurious interiors of 28 Kothi. From its individually styled plush rooms and hand-painted murals, to custom designed pieces of hand-crafted furniture by local artisans, every element contributes to the Kothi’s poetic design, embracing its guests with a feeling of calm and bliss.
